POL pride ourselves on being able to offer a prompt and efficient delivery and collection service 24hrs a day 7 days a week.
Our vehicles are fitted with inverters that can provide power to run purpose made transportable chiller and freezer units that can hold approximately 14 cu ft. of product. This system gives us the flexibility to carry chilled frozen and ambient products on one vehicle.
These units are more efficient at maintaining a constant temperature due to less wasted air space. They also allow us to cut costs, as you need only send one vehicle with all your goods instead of three.
The temperature of every delivery is recorded by electronic monitors that we upload onto a computer for a permanent record that can also be printed.
For multi-drop deliveries we plan and time each driver's route. We then telephone the interviewers to notify them of the approximate delivery times. This gives us the opportunity to make alternative arrangements with them straight away if this is necessary.
For hall tests timing and confidentiality is crucial. If you specify a time we will be there and if requested we will only leave your products with you nominated contact.
All of our drivers are very experienced and are used to working in the UK and on the continent. They are in constant communication with our office and keep us updated with their progress.
